YIL-NETWORK GAMBIA CHAPTER COHORT 1 GRADUATION ON GMEB TV NEWS

The 29th June, The Yil-Network Gambia Chapter graduated 50 participants as part of its First Cohort Online Training Program held at the Regional Education Directorate One in Brikama.  The occasion was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Seedy SK Njie and National Assembly Member for Bintang, Bakary K. Badjie. 

NEW COHORT PROGRAM INTRODUCED

  Yil-Network Gambia Chapter commenced its first Cohort on Online Training Program. The training will cover a lot of courses including: Public Speaking, Climate Change, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Leadership Development amongst others.  The program starts from 5th-17th May, 2024 with additional routine programs such as project writing, Cohort election, final exams and physical graduation.

YIL-NETWORK GAMBIA CHAPTER STAGED "TEEN SEMINAR"

The YIL-Network Gambia Chapter on the 1st March 2024 staged a competition among five schools in the West Coast of The Gambia under the theme: The Influential Child.  The purpose of the program is to drive creative solutions that bridge generations of academic progress. We believe that by harnessing the potentials within our teenagers or youths from different grassroot, we can achieve sustainable progress.   

YIL-NETWORK GAMBIA CHAPTER GRADUATES COHORT 8 & 9

The Yil-Network Gambia Chapter on the 6th January 2024 graduated Cohort 8 and 9 who completed the Yil-Network Accelerated Training Program for Change Makers. The ceremony took place at Poco Loco Beach at Senegambia. Congratulations to the gallant participants for reaching this far.                                                                           

YIL-NETWORK GAMBIA CHAPTER PLANTED 1000 TREES

          The Youth International Leadership Institute (Yil-Network) Gambia Chapter on  Sunday the 3rd September, 2023 engaged in Tree Planting exercise in various communities within the West Coast of The Gambia such as Bainyaka, Mamuda, and Rumba.  This is as a result of our commitment to contribute our quarter in maintaining the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) and Africa Agenda 2063 on mitigating climate change in Africa and beyond.  As an Organization, Climate Change is one of our Thematic Areas as its effects have rendered Africa a great destruction. Researchers have disclosed that Africa may need about $120 Billion to Mitigate Climate Change. If not, in 2025 Africa will experience a more serious hazard on both high Temperature, Drought, Flooding etc that will cause the destruction of billions of properties and millions of people may lost their lives due to climate change.  For that, we take up the initiative now by planting ...

YIL-NETWORK GAMBIA CHAPTER OFFICIALLY REGISTERED

On the 22nd March 2024, The Yil-Network Gambia Chapter was officially registered in the Gambia despite its existence for over three years; creating impacts, inspiring youths and connecting them to opportunities. Congratulations

YIL-NETWORK MEDIA CAMPAIGN

The Management of Yil-Network through its Gambia Chapter executive in the persons of the Gambia Country Director, Abdourahman Bah; Bubacarr Jallow, Program Manager and the Vice President, Lamin N. Bah represented the chapter in a radio talkshow at Star FM on the 22nd April 2023 between the hours of 12:00 -13:00pm. The objective of the TALK SHOW was to advertise the vision, mission and goals of Yil-network as well as inviting potential collaborations. 

YIL-NETWORK INTERNATIONAL COHORT 7 GRADUATED

On the 31st May 2023, Yil-Network through the Accelerated Training Program, has graduated Cohort 7 class. The entire management of Yil-Network through its headquarters congratulates the graduates for their exceptional performance throughout the training.
