YIL-NETWORK GAMBIA CHAPTER PLANTED 1000 TREES

          The Youth International Leadership Institute (Yil-Network) Gambia Chapter on  Sunday the 3rd September, 2023 engaged in Tree Planting exercise in various communities within the West Coast of The Gambia such as Bainyaka, Mamuda, and Rumba.  This is as a result of our commitment to contribute our quarter in maintaining the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) and Africa Agenda 2063 on mitigating climate change in Africa and beyond.  As an Organization, Climate Change is one of our Thematic Areas as its effects have rendered Africa a great destruction. Researchers have disclosed that Africa may need about $120 Billion to Mitigate Climate Change. The YIL-Network Gambia Chapter on the 1st March 2024 staged a competition among five schools in the West Coast of The Gambia under the theme: The Influential Child.  The purpose of the program is to drive creative solutions that bridge generations of academic progress. We believe that by harnessing the potentials within our teenagers or youths from different grassroot, we can achieve sustainable progress.
